We
tend to think all this stuff we have in our lives is ours. But the truth is; it
is all God’s. Even our children are God’s, we are simply stewards of what He
has blessed us with.
Psalm
24:1
The
earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that
dwell therein.
But
the greatest gift of all is the gift of salvation. Not only is this gift about
eternal life, it is also restoration with God on this earth.
Psalm
24:3-6
Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

All
of us are sinners. All of us. But through Jesus we can receive the blessing of
being the righteousness of Christ. But we must seek Him, we must long to see
His face.
Life
is a battle for those who seek clean hands and a pure heart. When you become
Christ’s, you become a soldier in His army.
Psalm
24:7-10
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

The
Lord of Hosts means the Lord of the Army. He is the King of Glory. Let us lift
up our heads and be part of His army.
